Arizona 9er Empire Tailgate... Something great there...

So this past weekend, I was in Glendale, Arizona for the game. After arriving at the phoenix airport and being picked up by my good buddy Gary, we spent the next few days looking forward to the tailgate.

Game Day came upon us rather quickly, and boy was there a takeover.. As we arrived to our meeting spot at 7:30am the parking lot was already a Sea of Red... Not that red of Failure known as Cardinal red, but the faithful red. At approx 845am we rolled out, and it seriously looked like a funeral procession for the soon to be Ex-NFC Champions. Car after car after truck after car we all rode onto the 101 on the way into the stadium lot. As you see in the Weekly picz section... Canopy after Canopy the 49ers Fans had finally arrived at the Blue Parking Lot.

The official count was somewhere between 170-200 49ers fans. Cases of Beer, Jungle Juice, Kegs all put on ice... Music blaring... Flags and banners set up.. The Cardinals fans who were at first the only in the Parking lot all the sudden knew we had arrived. After a little bit over an hour of the fans having a great time, the caterer showed up. Steak... Chicken... Bratwurst... all cooked for the fans.

Even Hall of Famer Bob St. Clair showed up to the tailgate to spend some time with the fans.

I give mad respect to all the fellow 9ers fans out there... but Gary, Alex and Ramon from Az 9er Empire have officially outdone themselves as a club. I have been to many tailgates, yes in the bay area its insanity.. but to be able to pull this off at an away game was a feat.. Simply massive and a good time was had by all. All the hard work put in by these guys should be appreciated by all.

New Season, New Frickz Picz

Hey guys it's me Fricker here ready to bring you another season of pictures. I should be traveling to every away game, and the home games against the Titans and Falcons in 2009.

There will also be new blogs along the way, and as always if you have a request on player youwould like to see pictures of feel free to shoot me an email by using the link on the front page.

Also finally 2 years after having my site, I have figured out how to read guestbook messages. All this time i had to some how access the guestbook and edit it to auto approve entries. Thanks for all the great comments.

Travels to Arizona

So ya guys its currently 1:51 am, and im still awake. That must mean i am catching an early flight out. I will be traveling to Phoenix, Arizona at 10 am today.

Its good to have friends. My buddy Gary from the Arizona 49er Empire is providing me the exceptiojnal hospitality that is always much appreciated. We will be tailgating and going to the Monday Night Football game vs the Cardinals.

Short Blog but lets hope for a 9er win!!

Northern's Exposed

       First off, thanks to Jesse for giving me this forum to get some weight lifted off my shoulders. We are at a time in the season where I could talk about just about anything right now, from new coaches and QBs to upcoming games and our obvious top 5 pick in next years draft. But, this week, I decided to take a pass on going straight for the obvious, and getting into the meat of a real problem...... THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY!!

    Has anyone been to the 49ers message boards lately? I used to be a frequent visitor to the site due to its great fans and its insightful members digging into the 49ers team and organization, and the NFL in general. There are still some of those great posters that grace the boards with their presence such as BladeX, Taz and the Wiz. But even though these guys still go here to talk the sport known as "Americas Passion", I can't seem to tollerate the trash is cluttered all over the board to get there.

    OMG, u R a Homerz :p. What the hell is this crap? The youth of America is going to become retarded from the overuse of text messaging! If these kids can't get it together and learn how to really spell something, we'll have to adopt texting as an official written language. No one on these english speaking message boards tolerates Spanish, Russian or Chinese to be written, so why in the hell do the mods allow these kids to clutter the boards with text talk and whole paragraphs with no punctuation? And what's with the "z" at the end of every word? I still don't understand that little fad. I say we take a stand, and help the youth of America write correctly and become normal citizens of this country. Think about it.... These kids will one day be writing your loans, your wills and your periodicals. We can't rely on Obama to fix everything.

Introduction of Me.

Hey all this is my first official blog. First off would just like to say welcome to my site.

My name is Jesse Fricker, i currently live in Abilene, TX, and i am a sports nut/photographer. My love for photography started big time last year as I attended all 16 San Francisco 49ers games in 1 Season. Where ever they traveled i was there. It was here that FrickzPicz was born.

I love all sports, but mainly 49ers Football, Avs Hockey, and Red Sox Baseball. I will pretty much attend any sporting event I can though for the chance to get to photograph it.

Well this is all for now, i hope you enjoy your stay here and check back periodically as i will be blogging about my latest travels as they take place.

Next scheduled Trip : Arizona 11-9 - 11-11 reason: 49ers vs Cardinals Monday night football.
